About DigitalBIZ project
The DigitalBIZ project recognizes that economic growth and the development of the private sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina are increasingly reliant on digital connectivity and the digitalization of business operations.
Despite the rapid growth of the ICT sector, the national economy still does not fully utilize the potential of new technologies. As a result, access to new markets and the development of competitive business models remain limited.
The COVID-19 pandemic further emphasized the importance of accelerating digital transformation across all sectors. Consequently, digitalization is becoming a key driver of change and offers new opportunities for growth and sustainable development.
However, despite its significance for the economy, digitalization is still not sufficiently represented in public policies. Cooperation between the growing ICT sector and other industries remains limited. Additionally, there is a lack of quality services and products that support business innovation and digital transformation.
The DigitalBIZ project offers concrete support to institutional partners, companies, and other relevant stakeholders. Its focus is on leveraging the digital economy to improve productivity, expand access to new markets, and accelerate economic growth.
Furthermore, the project includes activities aimed at strengthening the capacities of local stakeholders and facilitating a faster transition to a digital economy. Financial support is also provided to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to help them digitally transform their operations.

DigitalBIZ project goal
The DigitalBIZ project aims to engage 10 legal entities — including institutions, organizations, and companies — in a dedicated support program.
These participants will take part in the development of business resource and advisory centers. Such centers may include development agencies, IT hubs, centers of excellence, training centers, and business accelerators.
The goal is to transform them into Digital Innovation Centers (DICs) that will provide long-term support for business digitalization and innovation.
DigitalBIZ project implementation
The City of Bijeljina established the Innovation Center for Sustainable Development – InCOR.
The first activity within the DigitalBIZ project was the organization of a digital marketing training program.
The training was aligned with the needs of the private sector and the demands of the labor market.
The goal was to equip participants with new knowledge and skills that would enhance their competitiveness.
A total of 33 participants successfully completed the program, which was delivered through two training modules.
