Certificates were awarded today to participants of the Corporate Web Identity project at the premises of InCOR (Innovation Centre for Sustainable Development) in Bijeljina. The project, in which the City of Bijeljina is one of the partners, along with the Section for Local Economic Development and European Integration, lasted for three months, with a focus on creating the corporate identity of business entities.
The advisor to the Mayor of Bijeljina, Radoslav Ostojić, stated that this activity was implemented in collaboration with the Regional Chamber of Commerce Bijeljina and the Faculty of Business Economics in Bijeljina.
- Radoslav OstojićThis is a symbolic way to show that there are different 'tools' through which it is possible to present the economy. It was an opportunity for companies that do not have an official website to solve that problem - students from the Faculty of Business Economics worked on creating appropriate websites.
Expressing gratitude to all the partners for their participation, he emphasized his hope that such a call will be repeated in the near future.
Stefan Trifković, a final-year student at the Faculty of Business Economics, speaking about the significance of the experience gained from working on this project, highlighted his satisfaction with his performance within it. Trifković worked on developing the website for the City organization of the Red Cross in Bijeljina. He emphasized his willingness to continue collaboration, in the form of maintaining the website in the future, if there is interest.
The Secretary of the City organization of the Red Cross in Bijeljina, Aleksandar Savić, reflected on the overall impact of the program in which the organization he works for obtained an official website.
- Aleksandar SavićFor a humanitarian organization like ours, an official website is an excellent tool to present our work to the broader public, as we have often encountered misconceptions that we are a social institution, which is not true at all.
- Prof. Dr. Vesna PetrovićThe Corporate Web Identity project was an excellent way to connect the academic community, business entities, and the City of Bijeljina.
The Director of the Regional Chamber of Commerce Bijeljina, Slavica Marković, explained that one of the reasons for implementing such a project is based on the findings of a detailed analysis. The analysis revealed that numerous companies, or business entities, do not have an internet presentation, i.e., a website.
The project was focused on meeting the business needs for digital business enhancement, and the specific public call was issued to invite applications for participation in the program for creating free websites for business entities. The synergy among project participants, in addition to delivering the final product for business entities, provided new applied knowledge in practice for students and enhanced the connection between the public and private sectors.
