Strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bijeljina: CampUp Bijeljina program successfully concluded

CampUp Bijeljina has officially concluded after an intensive three-day program designed for young people aged 18 to 35. The program was organized by the Science and Technology Park of the Republic of Srpska, in partnership with the City of Bijeljina.

54 participants developed startup ideas

The program gathered young people with business ideas, students, and final-year high school pupils who spent three days working on the development of their startup concepts. Through interactive workshops, teamwork, and mentorship from experienced professionals, participants had the opportunity to refine their ideas and turn them into mini business plans.

Ankica Todorović, Head of the City Department for Local Economic Development and European Integration, emphasized that the goal of the program was to bring entrepreneurial thinking and the process of launching a startup closer to young people.
She also highlighted the excellent turnout — 54 registered participants, which demonstrates the strong value these programs have for the local community.

Workshops, teamwork, and business plan development

Throughout the program, participants completed a series of practical workshops covering product development, idea validation, business modeling, and the basics of market entry. Working in teams, they prepared their final presentations.

The third day of the camp was dedicated to the presentation of 12 business ideas, evaluated by a panel of experts. The best ideas were awarded, and all teams received guidance for further development of their projects.

Fourth CampUp program in the Republic of Srpska

Nikola Dragović, Director of the Science and Technology Park of the Republic of Srpska, reminded that this was the fourth program of this kind implemented in Srpska. He stressed that the purpose of CampUp is to show young people that, with the right support, a quality idea can be quickly prepared for the market.

City of Bijeljina’s support for the startup ecosystem

Radoslav Ostojić, Advisor to the Mayor of Bijeljina, thanked all partners involved in the organization and emphasized that such events are essential for creating a favorable entrepreneurial climate in the city.
He stated that startup programs should become a permanent practice of the City in the field of economic development.
